Hello, Southern Railway has trains every 10-15 min from Gatwick to Farringdon Station (3 min away from our Hotel). To get to Luton Airport is trickier, I'd suggest to pick the best route that fit your priorities, there are plenty options.

Great room above a traditional London Inn. Excellent location and very comfortable room.

The room was clean and comfortable with enough room for two people. Room was renovated so was modern and had everything you'd expect of a hotel room. Great location. Really close to public transport including the metro and other lines. Walking distance to central London and most attractions.

It was exactly as presented on Bookings.com. It is above a pub, so can get a little noisy, but nothing too bad at all. Somewhat overpriced for what you get, but it was peak summer season, so to be expected. Wi-Fi could have been better.

The bed was amazing....so comfortable. Just perfect for us! The staff is very kind and helpful. Location is calm and very convenient since Farringdon station is next door.

Great location, clean comfortable room.

Comfortable room, very clean, plenty of drawer and hanging space. Great location, very close to Farringdon Station (Elizabeth Line, Underground, Thameslink. Lots to see nearby, Leather Lane Street Food Market for example.

Breakfast not included. There was a Wetherspoons, however, very close by for breakfast option.

A great place to stay in super expensive London, some quirks, but that's part of the charm!

Convenient to close by Farringdon station, with newer remodeled rooms in great condition. Well decorated. They're generous with 2 x bottles of water per day and well as many snacks as you want. Staff is very helpful and pleasant to work with. The AC is super quiet and worked well with many fan speeds. The pub is popular and lively with many patrons coming in for a pint after work and spilling out onto the street. Farringdon is not everyone's first choice of places to visit, but that comes with certain pros/cons.

The stairs are steep, narrow, and twisty. There is no elevator. I would not recommend trying to haul anything up these stairs except a carry-on. That 50lb, 28" monster bag? Leave it at home. We were in room #102 (1st floor, i.e., above the ground floor) and we did hear muffled noise and music (not loud) from the pub in the evenings until they closed, which is I believe relatively early at 9pm on weekdays but 11pm on weekends. Be careful getting out of those bathtubs, they're a bit high and with no handholds! The old-fashioned (real) keys are a tad troublesome to use.

Very Nice Three-Night Stay

We stayed at the One Tun Pub and Rooms for three nights in June and enjoyed our stay. The room was nicely appointed and the bathroom was spotless. There were complimentary water bottles, candy, cookies, potato chips/crisps, and coffee pods in the room. The TV had lots of channels (although we couldn’t find any from the US) and the wifi was fine. Even though the rooms were above the pub, the noise wasn’t a problem for us. In that area of Central London, many people are drinking inside and outside the bars after the work day ends so it’s quite a scene. The location is a short walk from the Farringdon Underground Tube Station and Elizabeth Line underground coming from Heathrow. There’s a Sainsbury's Market about a five-minute walk away. If you buy alcohol or use a US credit card at the self-serve checkout there, an attendant needs to come over to approve that. We had a Thai food dinner at the pub with a 10% discount and it was very good. We also had dinner just down the street at the Sir John Oldcastle Bar. They have very good prices for a “meal deal” with a burger and beer. They don’t have wait staff to take your order so you have to do that on a phone or at the bar. They then deliver it to your table number. There’s an odd “no music” policy, but it’s very noisy as everyone seemed to be talking loudly. Even so, we liked it so much that we went back again the next night. The only downside at the One Tun is that there’s no elevator and the stairs are extremely steep. Dennis and the staff were very helpful to bring our heavy bags up to our room when we checked in and back down again when we checked out. The price for the lodging was as expected for the area. We had a nice stay so we’d recommend it.

Luxury room in great location

The location is great, very close to the tube station. The room is huge with a recently renovated, beautiful bathroom.

There is a bar below the rooms, if you are sensitive to noise that may be an issue.

The room was clean and spacious. Location was excellent, close to tube station.

Great place to stay...and a great team!

Great welcome from George - we arrived pre-check-in but were able to store our luggage, and also after check out the next day, which made our trip much more comfortable. Water/tea/coffee/snacks and fridge and very nice room. Very comfortable and great bedding. Fun place to stay and great team!

Though the room was lovely it would be perfect with a little refreshment/touch-ups..but this didn't detract from our stay.

Great service, immaculate and comfy.

The rooms were immaculate, comfy and had everything you needed and more. I was surprised by how big the room was. The location was great for accessing central London. The staff were really friendly. would definitely book to stay here again.

if you are less able there are quite a few stairs to the upper rooms. However the staff offered to take our luggage up to the rooms.
